Situated in the extreme east of the province of Buenos Aires, Villa Gesell has sandy beaches, pine, acacia, tamarisnd and eucalyptus forests. The scenery is wonderful because it has a large forest populated by acacias, poplars, cypress, tamarind and pine along the coast and also a desert landscape with giant dunes.
Villa Gesell has over 50 miles of varied beaches qualifying certainly among the best beaches in Argentina, but if you like adventure visit the virgin dunes can be traversed on horseback or exciting quadcycles. Also between Mar de las Pampas and Mar azul, another exceptional place surrounded by woods, is Las Gaviotas, a beautiful beach village consisting of sea and dunes.

To the Villa Gesell Airport come several airlines and it can also be accessed through the Provincial Route 11 that connect with Mar del Plata and other beaches.
