Situated in the extreme east of the province of Buenos Aires, Villa Gesell has sandy beaches, pine, acacia, tamarisnd and eucalyptus forests. The scenery is wonderful because it has a large forest populated by acacias, poplars, cypress, tamarind and pine along the coast and also a desert landscape with giant dunes. Villa Gesell has over 50 miles of varied beaches qualifying certainly among the best beaches in Argentina, but if you like adventure visit the virgin dunes can be traversed on horseback or exciting quadcycles. Also between Mar de las Pampas and Mar azul, another exceptional place surrounded by woods, is Las Gaviotas, a beautiful beach village consisting of sea and dunes.

With excellent tourist infrastructure, it has a wide variety of accommodations: hotels, apart hotels, rental housing, campgrounds, lodges, bungalows, apartments, duplexes, inns and lodges.
In Villa Gesell there are numerous restaurants, cafes, pubs and clubs, for which it has an active night life, and if you like gambling, you can go to the casino and bingo halls. Another special attraction is the Artisans Fair.
HOW AND WHEN TO GO - WEATHER AND TRANSPORTATION
To the Villa Gesell Airport come several airlines and it can also be accessed through the Provincial Route 11 that connect with Mar del Plata and other beaches.
The best months to enjoy the sun, with a good weather is from December to March, at this time of the year, the average temperature is 34 degrees.
