TRINIDAD
TRINIDAD BEACHES
CARIBBEAN BEST

Trinidad, only 12 km from Venezuelan beaches, has the most South American atmosphere in the Caribbean; in fact, it does not resemble to the rest of the Caribbean as it is highly industrialized and densely populated, specially in Port of Spain.
But Trinidad has some of the best beaches in the world to offer to its visitors, thanks to the amazing crystal water of the Caribbean Sea and the sandy coasts framed by idyllic tropical palm trees.
WHERE TO STAY AND WHAT TO DO
As it is the most cosmopolitan island in the Caribbean, Trinidad offers a wide range of hotels to suit every traveller.
An interesting activity is to spend the night with the patrol in charge of looking after the turtles´feeding areas in the east of the island, a unique opportunity to witness this amazing phenomenon.
Another option is visiting the natural reserve Pointe a Pierre, famous for its exotic trees. Or your can see Dunston Cavern, the home of the native animals known as "guacharos". If you still have time, we recommend you to visit Lake Pith near Saint Fernando. And of course, February offers one of the best Carnivals in the world, lasting two weeks.
WHEN AND HOW TO GO
There are flight connections from all major cities in the world.
Trinidad can be visited any time of the year, as the weather is always warm.
