Thailand is an appealing country due to its exotic culture and tradition, as well as for its magnificent monuments of ancient civilization to be found in the capital, Bangkok, or in the ancient capital of the once famous kingdom of Siam, Sukhothai or Ayutthaya. The country is steeped in architectural and aesthetic references to the country's dominant religion, Buddhism.

As if this were not enough, Thailand offers tourists kilometers of coastline and countless islands that place it as the possessor of some of the best beaches in Asia, more specifically in Southeast Asia.

Among them stands out for its unparalleled beauty, Phi Phi Island in the Andaman Sea. Phi Phi or Koh Phi Phi, has impressive beaches surrounded by stunning green mountains and a life befitting a quiet island with no vehicles and whose architecture matches perfectly with the wildlife and nature. Also high on the mountain itself of the island you can get the most delightful views over the twin bays that make up this island.

Phuket in turn is a city with vibrant nightlife, the "capital of sin" in Thailand, but also offering good beaches within which the busy Patong Beach has to be mentioned.

In the famous Gulf of Thailand on the island of Ko Samui is the most outstanding beach destination, with beaches Hat Chaweng and Hat Lamai as the two most beautiful. But Ko Samui is not just about beaches, because it has interesting Buddhist temples and a bustling nightlife to complete a wonderful combo of powerful attractions for tourists.

Phang-Nga, with the spectacular Similan Island and world famous James Bond Island, because the James Bond movie, "The Man With The Golden Gun" with Roger Moore, was filmed there. Continuing its Hollywood, fame Thailand also has Maya Beach, where the movie "The Beach" starring Leonardo Di Caprio, was filmed.
