San Clemente del Tuyú offers visitors beautiful beaches washed by crystal clear water, where sand is gently undulating, and mostly fine golden beaches are surrounded by green areas. If fishing is your weakness, don't forget to go to Punta Rasa, where catching a black seabass is very easy and everything has an idyllic setting to spend an unforgettable evening watching the huge concentrations of migratory birds arriving from the north, in an incredible place where the river combines with the sea. The biological station has a guided tour.
On the surroundings of the Faro San Antonio you can enjoy a day outdoors in Bahía Aventura, which is a beautiful park, or visit a good nursery in the area, in both places there are experts who guide and inform you. To go to the highest point of the lighthouse, there is a lift where you can appreciate Punta Rasa and Samborombón Bay.
An unforgettable place are the thermal waters that are within a few miles from San Clemente del Tuyu, surrounded by an extraordinary forest has a few pools with water around 45 degrees.
HOW AND WHEN TO GO - WEATHER AND TRANSPORTATION
To arrive to the Ezeiza Airport is a 280km journey which will take about three hours, the points where you must pass are: San Vicente, Cruce Etcheverry, Chascomus, Castelli, Dolores, Cruce RP63 and RP11, Gral Conesa, and finally San Clemente de Tuyú.
In all the beaches in Argentina, the answer to when to go is the same: the average temperature in the summer season, from December to March, is 29 degrees Celsius, and therefore this is when waves of tourists visit, so depending on whether you like the heat of the summer or the quiet of winter, you can go from December to March to enjoy the beaches or a little earlier, from October to December, although the weather is not as warm you will have San Clemente to enjoy in the quiet.
