If you are looking for a marvellous place to spend your holidays, do not think twice and come to Puerto Morelos, one of the best beaches in the Mayan Riviera, and the most important port in Quintana Roo. There you will hear many different languages which mix with the Mayan language many inhabitants speak, as there are tourists from all over the world. Several foreigners have built their houses there because it is thought to be a safe and quiet place.
In Puerto Morelos there are paradise beaches protected by the reef, with moderate waves, turquoise water, fine white sand, and a landscape which delights every visitor. Snorkelling is a very popular sport and you can also go kayaking or windsurfing.

You must visit the Marine Park Reefs, offering an enormous variety of tropical fish, turtles, dolphins and sometimes, whales. You will be offered the necessary equipment for these sports and you will also be able to cross by boat.
There are two ecologic parks where to do hiking or take a course in survival. There is the biggest Botanical Garden in Mexico, with thousands of plants, suspension bridges and an archaeological site which together make this impressive garden. It is really exciting to explore the jungle riding an ATV, a horse or a bike.
Puerto Morelos is 18 km from Cancun airport and 36 km from Carmen beach, so it is easy to get there if you are looking for the best beaches in Mexico. The warmest season is summer, when the weather is hot and humid, with temperatures rising up to 35º, in winter the temperatures drop to 13º. The annual average temperature is about 26º.
