Pucon

In the amazing south of Chile, almost 800 kilometres from the capital city is Villarrica volcano. Thanks to its natural beauty and excellent tourist infrastructure, Pucon is one of the most visited tourist centres in Chile. It has several spas which attract both Chilean and foreign visitors all the year. Its beaches offer fine dark sand and warm water with surf to suit every surfer.

Its inhabitants make efforts to keep the unique style of the city: neon lights are forbidden and there are united criteria for publicity and building, which makes us feel far from the maddening city crowd and in a unique place ideal for relaxation.

Winter lovers are also attracted by sports you can practise in the snow.

Hotels & Activities

Pucon has everything a holidaymaker needs. There are 5-star hotels as well as hostels, bed and breakfast places and camping sites.

The restaurants offer a varied and delicious menu, and you can find good night entertainment at the many casinos, discos, pubs and bars. On the beach, near the rivers and other nearby places, you feel invited to do all sorts of activities: swimming, fishing, waterskiing, surfing, windsurfing, kayaking, and for those who love vegetation there is horseriding, mountainbiking and climbing.

The 4 km long Playa Grande is the most popular and is situated on Lake Villarrica, next to Tancura river, where you can try rafting if you want to test your adventurous spirit.

Guided visits to Villarrica, Quetrupillan and Lanin volcanoes enable you to see the majesty of Chilean nature.
