Providencia is located to the north of San Andres. It has about 17 square kilometers in extension and its capital is Santa Isabel. It has total peace and quiet, due to its geographical isolation and its virgin state, so it's perfect for relaxing.In the Providencia Bay you'll find the most exotic and solitary beach in Colombia: the Suroeste beach. With golden sands and transparent water, it's ideal for swimming, diving, skiing and other water sports, Suroeste beach is one of the coastal treasures of the Providencia Bay.

HOW AND WHEN TO GO - WEATHER AND TRANSPORTATION
You can connect from Bogota through San Andres in a two hour flight, and then another 25 minute flight to the El Embrujo airport in Providencia.
