It has some of the best beaches in Peru, with yellowish-orange sand are full of locust trees; the colour of the sea is torquoise green and the excellent temperatures as well as the politeness of its people are a perfect match to make us feel at home and enjoy a holiday full of fun and adventure, relaxation, peace and quiet to share with the family.

There are hundreds of inns, camping places and hotels, not to mention the excellent restaurants offering national and international dishes among which the typical “Ceviche” or the coveted “cabrito” meat stand out.
There are also many places to have fun at night, like bar, pubs and fist-class discos. The large beach of Colan is really impressive, with sea and winds suitable for the practice of watersports like motorboating and windsurfing. Cabo Blanco Beach is always chosen by young surfers due to its incredible straight waves. It is a typical paradise cove also visited by fishermen.
Pocitas is a quieter beach, offering a more relaxing atmosphere. At low tide, small pools form among the rocks, which inspired the name of “Pocitas” (i.e little holes) and are a delight for small children. This beach is incredibly luminous at night, and there are lots of discos and a busy night life.
For those in search of peace and quiet, a good idea is to stay in Vichayito, Lobitos o Los Organos beaches.
Weather & Flights
The province of Piura has an international airport from where you can travel by land to any of its beaches. The annual average temperature is about 27ºC and the warmest season is between November and March.
