Patara is a small village on the Mediterranean Sea. It is one of the best beaches in Turkey in the north of the Mediterranean Sea, situated on the Turkish Riviera. It is absolutely natural and there you will be able to practise watersports, or watch the marine turtles laying their eggs.
This virgin beach is about 18 kilometres long, the longest in Turkey, with white sand, crystal water and lush vegetation.
Choose your accommodation according to your taste and needs, as there is a variety of comfortable hotels and guest houses. You can take a small cruise ship and spend the day travelling around the island on Fethiye bay.
Turkey has various airports and the most convenient one to ge to Patara is Antalya airport on the Mediterranean coast. The weather is hot in summer -from June to September- with an average temperature of 30ºC, and the winters are cold.
