ARGENTINA BEACHES
With its coastline on the Atlantic Ocean, Mar de Ajó is an Argentinian beach of great importance for tourism as it offers excellent beach, varied walks and a warm family atmosphere. This beach used to be known as Playa Margarita, because of a boat that sank on its shores. The beaches are extensive and ideal for a stroll in quads, have fine golden sand, no stones so you can comfortably lie on the sun and tan in full. It also has a large pier over 250 meters long which is ideal for fishing at any time of day.
Out of the over fourty beaches on the MAR DE AJO, there's one for every taste, from the ones where you can sunbathe on the rocks though it's not advisable to go deep in these waters, to the ones where you can enjoy swimming, fishing and going out in small boats. The most visited by tourists are the ones at the center and south of the city.
