The island of Lombok is in Indonesia, between Bali and Sumbawa island, with its uncrowded beaches and wonderful landscapes. The area around the tall Rinjani volcano is amazing, these beaches are not as crowded as those in Bali since many people are attracted by the bustle of Bali, but if you prefer peace and solitude you'll surely love Lombok. Lombok has every lodging possibility: from the best equipped hotels with a top notch service to lower cost hotels, depending on your finances.

From Bali, it can be reached by boat, otherwise there are international flights by aircraft arriving from Singapore.

The most practiced water sports are surfing, snorkeling, diving, bananaboating and others.

The tourist sites are few, but it's nice to visit markets as Kebon Roek, crowded and bustling, and there's another large market at the bus terminal.
