The tranquility of Las Toninas can be diversified by travelling short distances to different points like San Clemente de Tuyú, visit the Mundo Marino or Mar de Ajó and try your luck at the Casino or Mar del Plata and stroll through its mall or enjoy the entertainment shows available.
The beaches of Las Toninas are particularly wide, between 100 and 150 meters. The water is shallow, transparent, quiet and warm, golden sand, and thick dunes. High tides have removed the Costanera street, but with the low tides you can see remains of boats such as the Canadian boat Her Royal Highness.
As many of the beaches of Argentina, Las Toninas has had a development boom in recent times, in commercial and housing terms, including both apartments and houses as well as gastronomy services, with many bars, candy stores and restaurants.
So the majority of the accommodations include houses and apartments for rent by their owners and there are two fantastic camp grounds with all of the amenities. A very special attraction is to visit the Labyrinth, which has more than six thousand square meters, full of poplars, indigenous vegetation and dunes, and daring to cross it is a real challenge.
Also in the main square you can admire the monument to those fallen in the Malvinas, in memory of fallen soldiers in the war.
The Toninas is less than 300 kilometers from Buenos Aires, on Route 36 and connect with Ruta Interbalnearia 11.
Summer is the best time to visit, with temperatures from December to March of about 28 degrees average.
