LA PALOMA - URUGUAY
URUGUAY BEACHES
In the department of Rocha, on the Atlantic Ocean coast is the beach town of La Paloma. It extends for 20 kilometers of beaches with fine white sand, some with rocks, some with natural water pools and crystal clear calm waters that are special for water sports. Among the selected beaches for tourists are: Los Botes, one of the quietest to attend with the family and play with the children; Solari, a beach with intermediate waves, where depending on the wind you can swim or practice windsurfing, and it's surrounded by an acacia forest.
But the most famous, nestled between two rocky points is the Balconada: a busy beach with big waves and pretty deep, it has a lighthouse where young people concentrate. Conversely if you want absolute peace, without doubt, the beach for you is Anaconda the opposite of Balconada, where few people come and peace is absolute.
