Corfu is one of the Greek islands on the Ionic Sea, with approximately 220 kilometers of coast. This island is also known as Kerkyra, because this is how many Greeks call it. Or the Byzantine monuments, such as the Paleopolis Basilica and the post-Byzantine such as the Saint Espidiron Church. There are many museums to visit, such as the Archeological and the Asian Museum.

HOW AND WHEN TO GO - WEATHER AND TRANSPORTATION
Many flights are permanently going from Athens to this island, because by boat the frequency is less and the trip is more complicated.
While the summer months are very active, just like in most of the European beaches, the spring (April-June) and the autumn (September-October) are the best seasons, because the summers are hot and dry, while the winter months (November-March) are rainy.
