Antofagasta
Antofagasta

This historical continental region is situated in the north of Chile, 1370 kilometres from the capital city. It combines a coastal area with excellent beaches and areas of arid desert. Some of its beaches were created artificially and this variety of landscapes makes Antofagasta a region that can be chosen by any kind of tourist.

Almost all its natural beaches are not in the city, and they offer a quiet stay to enjoy the warm water with waves and strong currents. In February, on the artificial beaches, locals are getting used to having a massive night bath until after midnight.

This and other tourist attractions make Antofagasta an excellent destination to enjoy the best holidays with family or friends.
